Cardiopulmonary resuscitation for dogs

CPR may save the life of your dog from! The American Red Cross and other health organizations encourage pet parents to learn how to manage the CPR. For families with pets, at least one Member must know how CPR is done. RPC is an acronym for cardiopulmonary resuscitation. This chest compression and rescue breathing aims to revive the familiar had a cardiac arrest. Cardiopulmunary is emergency care which stabilize the familiar condition after cardiac arrest.
Electrocution and ingestion of toxic substances, ingestion of foreign object that can create an obstruction of the airway can snuff the lifetime of the animal.  Naturally, preventing instances of these accidents will be the best way to ensure the safety of your pet. However, accidents can never be prevented because of energetic and curious nature these animals. Accidents can be prevented, the only option that may have a dog owner is to be prepared to treat injuries suffered by the pets by pulling dog first aid lessons. RPC may be the only chance that an owner may have to save the life of the animal. Respiratory tract is the dog. Check if the airway of the dog is clear. No there is no point in the administration of artificial respiration if the respiratory tract of the dog is blocked. Extend the dog head, open mouth and try to see whether a foreign object blocking the airway. If there is a deadlock, it can be dislodged by the Heimlich manoeuvre.
If the Airways are clear, rescue breathing can be performed. Lay the familiar on his side, hold the snout with one hand and blow on the dog nose.  Blow every 3 seconds should be given until the animal is breathing on his own. Breathing should be full lung capacity to revive large dogs. Small dogs are in need of a softer artificial respiration. Breathing is not intended to inflate the lungs, but are only moving the chest.
Chest compression is made for a dog who lost consciousness and who has no heart rate or the pulse. Place the Palm of the hand on heart of the dog. With the other hand placed on top of another early compression. Compression rate should be 3 cuts every 2 seconds. It would be necessary to breathe on the nose, after five chest compressions
